From bringing diverse, powerful characters to life on the screen and stage, to spearheading efforts to mentor, empower and invest in young women of color, Sheria Irving, is both an Actor and SHE.E.O.
Born in Miami, Florida, Sheria is a classically trained actor, graduating first from New World School of the Arts, and later receiving her Masters from the Yale School of Drama. She launched her professional career debuting on Broadway and has since worked in many staged and filmed projects.
Determined to balance her love of the arts and her need to empower the BIPOC community, Sheria has been an educator in the New York City public school system, earning her Masters in Education from Pace University; this work leading her to create Shaping Her Earth, a 501c3 non-profit and social impact organization that mentors, empowers and invests in young women of color.
